American film and television actor, Ernest Borgnine, has died at the late age of 95.
After being in the film and television industry for more than six years, Borgnine finally came to a rest after suffering regnal failure at Cedar-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
His wife and his children were by his side during his passing.
Among those who praised or otherwise reacted on the day he died were Leonard Nimoy who had worked with Borgnine in television, Gary Sinise, Marlee Matlin, Barbara Eden, Rob Lowe, and Levar Burton.
Borgnine was also well known for his role as Mermaid Man in the animated cartoon series, Spongebob Squarepants.
