Deploying Army — DA

Democratic Alliance (DA) leader,  Helen Zille,  is calling for the Army to be deployed to gang invested areas this after the cries of the Western Cape were heard.  

The lives of nearly 12 people,  including bystanders have been killed during shootings over the past two weeks.  

So now this DA leader had enough and is calling for the South African Army to take charge in these areas.  

“What we need critically is for the army to come in, to restore the peace through patrols, they have to be under the command of the SAPS. The army cannot be a law unto itself here; we don’t have a civil war. We do have a crisis, in Hanover Park specifically.”
