South African Afrikaans Poet Cornien Naude - Source Photo |
According to Naude she is just a normal person, who enjoys peace and quite and of course wide spread areas. She was born 5 June 1967 in Pofadder in Upington, Northern Cape. She has one son.
She continued to say that N.P van Wyk Louw and Ingrid Jonker are of her favourite poets and serve as an inspiration for all most all her writing. Following is one of her poems.
Eensame Swerwers
Winters-wind, Swerwerskind...
hoe lank gaan my hart
nog skouer skuur teen jou grint,
weerbarstig hink-en-pink in ons smart?
Wie is die ware Swerwer -
Jy wat deur skrefies huil,
skarniere pluk en rinkink op die nerwe -
swiep en tussen nokke skuil?
Ek wat roep …
en net my eggo antwoord
met 'n hart'slag wat flikkerend soek?
Kom roer saggies deur my hare,
vee oor gister se spore...
en dans saam deur die blare.
