South Africa — On Monday,  28 May 2012,  a fire broke out at Princess Crossing shopping centre in Roodepoort. 
The fire is said to have started at approximately 6:30 AM,  according to centre management over 25% of the centre was damaged and over R100 million of damage has been obtained,  in stocks alone R30 million. 
No one got hurt during the fire.  And allegations that the fire began in Dis-chem pharmacies cannot be confirmed as yet. 
Five firefighters has also been arrested after returning on 29 May to the scene and stealing over R10 000 worth of perfume from one of the shops.
