Alleged robbers on the run

South Africa — Two men suspected of robbery are on the run after holding up a couple in the parking lot of Bayside Mall in Tableview. 

It is said that the two men followed the couple from a nearby ATM where they got cash just minutes before the incident. 

The couple was held at gunpoint and forced to hand over an uncertain amount of money and their car keys.

A shot was said to be fired but luckily no one sustained injuries.

According to November Filander,  South African Police Service (SAPS) officer,  “The victim tried to stop one of the suspects. The suspect fired a shot at the victim, but he missed. They fled in the couples white Conquest.”
